4) Cutting Food Stamps from government spending will affect families and single people who rely on the government assistance to survive and provide for their families. It will also affect the governments wealth and financial future.

5) Starting today, November 1st, food stamps will be cut from our governments spending leaving many families who rely on the assistance to feed their families out money and will also dampen economic growth, even though it is a plan meant to reduce government spending.

6) In my opinion, cutting food stamps from out governments spending cost will not be as beneficial as they think it is going to be two to three years into our countries fiscal year plans. I feel that cutting one government program to save money will just result in spending on another program and the government will just end up spending the same about of money, while people and families who truly rely on the food stamps will hurt financially from the cuts and fall into the cycle of poverty. Money that these families would normally spend money on that food stamps wouldn't cover will have to be rationed on food and will most likely be unhealthy food due to the high cost of health food, leading to poor nutrition and poor grade in school caused by hunger and lack of sleep. It's a never ending cycle. Coming from a government who is trying to end poverty, it seems to be doing a horrible job. True, you can always point out the people who abuse the system, and are practically stealing from the government, but if we made all of our decisions based on the small percentage of people who take advantage of assistance, than there wouldn't be any at all. We need to voice our opinions and let it be known that we want to help people in need and not see our own neighbors starve.
