4. A potential policy that is being considered to help a problem/issue that individuals/families face

5. The addition of extra classrooms is important because it will prevent schools in the Richardson area from turning away students. It is also important for families to be aware of the possibility of expansion because it can have an affect on the small school atmosphere.

6. I personally think that adding extra classrooms to some of the elementary schools is a good thing. By doing this students do not have to go to schools further away from their homes. Adding classrooms also keeps the number of students in each classroom smaller. I think that have a classroom or school that has overcrowding harms the productivity of learning. In the article it talked about families preferring smaller schools and they are concerned that by adding classrooms it will take the "small school feel" away from the families. I would say to this that it is either expanding the school, having to take their children to schools further from their homes, or having a whole new school built all together. Since building a new school hasn't been proposed I feel like the best thing for these families is to except an expansion. I personally would want my kids to attend a school close to home without having the classrooms jam packed. I think by adding classrooms to some of the elementary schools will be beneficial in the long run.
