2. Category of problem/issue: Economy

3. Level of problem/issue: Local

4. A potential policy that is being considered to help a problem/issue that individuals/families face.

5. Why is it important to individuals/families and how does it affect them?

Individuals and families have been paying high gas prices over the course of several years and now the prices have declined. They can travel more or spend the money they will be saving on gas, on other things of importance.

6. What are your views?

I'm happy, of course, that the prices are declining. I drive a lot and use a lot of gas so this is especially good news for me. However, with this switch to the winter-grade, pollution will increase. That's why it's cheaper. Gas prices will continue to be cheaper because the price per barrel of oil has significantly reduced.
