Dallas ISD Superintendent Mike Miles says 'he's not going anywhere'

Dallas ISD Superintendent Mike Miles says he’s ‘not going anywhere’

2..  Category of problem issue identified in article: education
          3.  Level of problem/issue local level
     4.This article is concerning a problem/issue that individuals/families face

     5.  This article is important to both individuals and families Mike Miles a superintendent for DISD and is under investigation for violating district policy and worked to publicly disparage trustees. However, Miles believes that he is not going anywhere and will keep his position as superintendent. Although Miles’ future at DISD is unknown whatever the outcome may be it will have a direct effect on teachers and students in the district.

     6. My view on this issue is that DISD needs a superintendent that is not under investigation. I feel that Mike Miles’ being under investigation affects the well-being of the employees and students in the district because there is so much attention being given to this issue rather than issues that need to be addressed by the school board. Even if Miles is found innocent I think that people will always view him as untrustworthy and a bad role model for students and employees. Miles is viewed as a leader of the DISD and if he can’t seem to follow the rules than why should the employees under him or even the students follow the rules?
