following: An “enacted”
policy that has been passed to help with a problem/issue that
individuals/families face
5. Why this is
important to individuals/families OR How does this affect individuals/families: Even though Obama Care will be in effect 2014, many states still have the reserved power to not implement the policy, such as South Carolina. This is important for many families and individuals that are relying on this policy and now their home state may not implement leaving them with an unsettling peace of mind when it comes to their physical health.
6. What are
your views on the issue/policy? My views on the Obama-care policy is that of what I understand a great policy. I am one of the many Americans that doesn't have health insurance because it is just not affordable for me. Many insurance companies also charge you so much on their plan but cover little or don't use most of your dollar for your coverage. That to me is ridiculous, I may not understand insurance that well but if you are paying monthly to get protection and coverage don't you think the insurance company should use at least more than half or your money that you are paying for your health? I do and Obama's Health care plan does just that if this means more taxes well so be it, we pay taxes for other ridiculous things why not our own health? I think every state should implement this policy and accept it, affordable coverage is what this country needs for those who have unhealthy life and can't work, we as a nation and government owe them at least that.
