4. A potential policy that is being considered to help a problem/issue that individuals/families face.

5. This is important to families because many families have a member or a friend who has cancer. This "miracle drug" could help cure cancer before surgical intervention.  The invention and usage of this drug is also as if medicine has finally met one of their most important goals ( to find a cure to cancer).

6.
I believe that the F.D.A. should go ahead and approve this policy. I believe it is going to be very effective for cancer patients and also very helpful to doctors. This drug is supposed to make inoperable tumors more amenable to surgery. If the tumors on the body are already amenable to surgery then this drug will simply get rid of those tumors. As I was reading through the article the only thing I could think of is a close family member who has experienced this. About two years ago one of my aunts was diagnosed with a small tumor in her lymph nodes. The doctor reassured her that it was a very early stage of breast cancer and it was something that could be easily removed. The tumor was removed, but unfortunately as time passed it reappeared now in her breast. By this time, the only solution was to remove her breast. Many breast cancer patients go through this fear on a daily basis. I cannot imagine what it feels to know that you are missing a part of your body. While reading this article I realized that the proposed drug can actually save you from getting your breasts removed. I believe that this drug should get approved by the F.D.A. and it will save many women from feeling incomplete. Of course, like with any new drug there should be strict regulations as to who may consume it. For the most part, I think it is a great idea, this proposition should be approved as it will save many lives.
