2. Category of problem/issue identified in the article economy, consumer/financial

3. Level of problem/issue local level

4. state whether the article is concerning An 'enacted" policy that has been passed to help with a problem/issue that individuals/families face

5. Dallas allowing free meals that are not based on incomes will affect students, the school district, and families. It is important to all of these because it will allow all of them to benefit from free meals.

6. My view on Dallas creating free meal plans that are not based on family incomes is a positive thing to me. In the article it talks about stigma's that come with free meal plans to be reduced and I feel that this will help the stigma's fade away. I also agree with the article that it can possible lead to students spending more money on snacks and bring the in money for the district. I think that this could be a smart move on the districts part and it saves money that comes along with all the paper work. If this new meal plan helps the district, families, and students than I think that other schools should defiantly consider following suite.
