This is important to everyone because bullying has serious consequences.  It affects not just those that are bullied but those who bully.

What are your views on the issue/policy?
I think that it is extremely important for parents to be aware about monitoring social media to make sure their kids aren't bullied or being bullied.  In this article, two Florida girls -- 12 and 14 -- are facing felony charges involving cyberbulling. Both girls had allegedly taunted and bullied a 12 year old girl who sadly jumped to her death from an abandoned cement factory tower last month.  This story has been a wake up call for not just parents, but schools and communities as well.  Joseph Wright, a pediatrician has stated that it is a "persuasive behavior" and that those dealing with bullying should get professional help.  We all need to be good role models, so that children as well as adults do not see bullying as it "being ok."  Cyberbullying is becoming a bigger problem and needs to start changing.  It has affected so many people in a negative way.  We need to start setting good examples so that others can pick up those traits.
