  1. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/03/us/politics/congress-budget-battle.html?ref=us
  2. Category of problem: Government
  3. What level is this problem/issue: National
  4.  What does the issue concern: It concerns the government shutdown how this can be a very important issue with time passing.
  5. How or why does this affect individuals/families: Well the government shutting down is obvious that this will affect us , not much now, but if it continues it will have tragic affects to our economy.
  6. What are your views on this issue? Well to me it just sounds like a bunch of babies crying over certain issues they can't even come to a compromise. On one end you have the Republicans, who are the reason I believe that we are going through this shutdown, refusing the negotiations of the president. Obama is willing to negotiate with the Republicans if only after they agree to the funding needed to reopen the government and also to an essential increase in the nation’s debt limit, without add-ons. Of course it is not that easy, Republicans don't want to budge, but for the better of the people they need to come up with a compromise quick. Obama has met with Economic analysts, financial advisers, and business men from Wall Street to discuss the foreseeable economical future of the United States. According to them the economy will have a negative effect if the shutdown continues.
We need to government to operate again no matter what deal they have strike up.
